VILLA DEL MAGRO

The villa is part of the first building development outside the walled city in direct connection with the southern part of the walls. It was designed by the same client, Daniele Del Magro, who built it as his own home in 1912. The building, inserted in a garden of vast proportions, has majolica panels on the facade, between the windows, with flying ducks by Galileo Chini.

VILLA DUCLOZ-DIANOLA

The complex is one of the most important examples of liberty architecture in Lucca. The main feature of the villa is the presence of a vertical body raised above the roof of the first floor, and of a central advanced body, hexagonal in shape, characterized by doors and windows decorated with floral motifs in wrought iron.

VILLA GIOIOSA

The construction of the villa began in 1915 on a project by the Lucca architect Lelio Menesini.

The building, now used as a private institute for teaching, is characterized by colored concrete decorations with animal and floral motifs and by polychrome majolica decorations from the manufacture of Galileo Chini.
